A ROSE WITHOUT PETALS AND WITH THORNS

A ROSE WITHOUT PETALS AND WITH THORNS

“When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.”
― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones

I read this in the book today morning. Since when, I cant get this quote off my mind.

This quote has a slightly deep meaning to its existence and can be related to easily. In my sense, the 'snow fall' and the 'white winds' are clearly nothing but heavy emotional storms, the type of storms that shatter down all the pieces of you. The 'pack' for me refers to a support more than an actual group or anything that sort.

It all makes sense that way. The lonely wolf dies after all of it but the pack or the support stays their and is saved. When issues hit the pack they huddle up and solve them, but when they hit the lone wolf, the issues scratch the life out of the lone wolf.

A reason this one specific quote stayed up in my mind is because i clearly understand what loneliness feels like. Loneliness is a feeling that can't actually be explained in simplicity and words. Explaining what Loneliness takes a lot of self-handling and self-confidence.

Loneliness isn't just staying alone and isolation from sociability, instead its more like a pain, a type of pain that comes and goes. This type of pain, goes away once and the relief makes you feel that it wont return, but it appears all of a sudden and stays there like it just had been there all this while, but somehow hideous and yet  somehow relieving.

It prickles out all of a sudden and then just spreads itself through all your thoughts and circumstances. All you think is ways to come out of it, but little do you know, that the more you try to come out of it, the more deeper you go in.

it makes you crave and want and long to reach out and touch another human, not just with your hands, but also with your heart.

To lonely people or i specifically say me, life fells different.

"My life looks like a bed of roses, only when i sleep on it, i realize, that the petals are missing and the thorns are all seen and hurting.."                                                                     -Original by THE VULNERABLE POET
